Rotaract Clubs Recognised for their Contributions to the Rotary Foundation
Rotaract clubs have now contributed more that $2 million (US) to the The Rotary Foundation with a record breaking $676,435 donated in 2025-2026.
The contributions from Rotaract clubs this past year, which saw a 33.5% increase in the total donated, also saw donations come from more clubs than ever with 1,193 clubs recognised, 157 more clubs than the year before, demonstrating the continued growth of Rotaractors’ commitment to The Rotary Foundation.
In Great Britain and Ireland, the Rotaract clubs of Tyneside, London and Brynmawr have received the Rotaract Giving Certificate, signed by 25-26 Foundation Trustee Chair Holger Knaack, in recognition and celebration of clubs whose members contribute US$100 or more to The Rotary Foundation during the Rotary year.
The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members (which includes Rotaractors) advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotary members and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world. This support is essential to Foundation grants, which bring sustainable improvement to communities in need.
Every contribution supports meaningful, sustainable projects that create lasting change in communities around the world. These achievements in giving represent more than record-breaking numbers. They show Rotaractors’ generosity, leadership, and spirit of service.
Raquel D'Garay-Juncal, from the Rotaract club of Tyneside and long standing supporter of The Rotary Foundation, said;
“I've been donating to the Rotary Foundation for several years now, and I've learned that no contribution is too small to matter: it all adds up to scholarships awarded, communities served, and lives changed. What many clubs don't realise is how attainable the Rotaract Giving Certificate is: it just takes a club's members contributing $100 total, in any amount and to any Foundation fund. If your club hasn't taken that step yet, I'd encourage you to start; it's a simple way to see how far your generosity can go.”
Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects - with 91% of funds spent on the programmes and projects it delivers.

End Polio Now - Rotary and our partners have immunized over 3 billion children worldwide since 1988. With your help, we can end this paralyzing disease for good.
-
Polio is a crippling and potentially fatal infectious disease, which typically affects children under the age of five.
For as little as 20p, a child can be protected against the virus for life.
Polio cases have declined rapidly from 350,000 annually since 1985, when Rotary began the fight to End Polio Now and Forever.
If we don't finish the fight right now, more than 10 million children could be paralyzed by polio in the next 40 years.
Today, we are “this close” to creating a polio-free world, and we need your help.
