International

Our international work helps our network broaden their perspectives, build global connections, and contribute to solutions that address challenges on a worldwide scale.

Rotaract International

Rotaract is a global network that brings People of Action together to create meaningful change in their local communities, around the world, and within themselves.

As part of an international network spanning over 180 countries, Rotaract Great Britain and Ireland plays an active role by working closely with Rotary International and fellow Rotaract organisations to strengthen connections and deliver impact and opportunities both locally and internationally.

Our international work supports projects and partnerships that respond to global challenges, while creating opportunities for members to engage in international service projects, learn from different cultures, and build lasting relationships across borders.

Connecting Rotaract Clubs all over Europe since 1988, the European Rotaract Information Centre (ERIC) bring together over 40 countries and 25K+ Rotaractors!

Rotaract Great Britain and Ireland works in partnership with this Multi-District Information Organisation to foster international exchanges and collaboration.

Supported by Country Representatives, with Rotaract Europe, our network has at least three opportunities per year to take part in events in different European cities. This includes the European Convention (EUCO) and two Rotaract Europe Meetings (REM); along with a number of other events.

REM Transylvania

Thursday 28th - Sunday 31st January 2027

Nestled in the heart of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca is a city where cobblestone streets whisper centuries-old secrets and Gothic spires pierce the misty Carpathian sky. Known as the unofficial capital of Transylvania, this enchanting city offers the perfect backdrop for our REM Conference - a place where history and mystery intertwine with cutting-edge innovation.

EUCO Napoli

Wednesday 14th - Sunday 20th April 2027

More information coming soon.

The Board’s Experience Director, Michael Mordecai, also acts as the formal Country Representative for Rotaract Clubs and Rotaractors within our districts as part of their membership with the European Rotaract Information Centre (ERIC).

"I've always believed that Rotaract brings together shared attitudes in volunteering. Everyone wants to help and everyone wants to contribute in one way or another. As Country Representative, I believe ERIC has the ability to bring together alternative perspectives and cultures, whilst working together for the same "do-goodery" cause. I will do everything in my power to listen and maintain such a collaborative network."
