About Us
As a Multi-District Information Organisation (MDIO), we exist to connect, guide, and represent Rotaract clubs across Great Britain and Ireland (GBI). We provide a coordinated structure for collaboration, communication, and development - enabling clubs and Rotaracts to share knowledge, access resources, and amplify their collective impact. Through the MDIO, Rotaract GBI strengthens its voice, develops communities, and ensures every Rotaractor can thrive within a unified and sustainable network to contribute to a better, fairer world.

It’s an exciting and transformative time to be part of Rotaract Great Britain and Ireland.
Our network is full of passionate, driven people making a real difference around the world, in local communities and in themselves. The impact we’re able to deliver together is creating lasting change - and we’re only just getting started!
Since 1992, we’ve helped Rotaractors come together with a shared sense of community and common purpose and with this strategy we aim to create a clear and shared framework to bring together our activities as we look to develop upon our success and facilitate a movement that stands the test of time.
This strategy sets out how we will deliver high quality foundations and opportunities to our members, the people who bring the momentum to our network. It reflects our commitment to uplifting every club and every Rotaractor, wherever they are on their journey.
Our new strategy is centred on four core pillars: build, grow, support, and empower. Build will focus on creating the structures, systems, and foundations needed for Rotaract GBI to operate effectively and sustainably. Grow will prioritise expanding the reach and influence of Rotaract through new clubs, increased membership, and broader partnerships. Support will centre on providing the tools, resources, and guidance that clubs and members need to succeed. Empower will ensure that Rotaractors are given the opportunities, skills, and confidence to lead projects, influence change, and create lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
Every Rotaractor’s journey begins with a desire to make a difference. Together, we turn that desire into action - building communities, growing connections, supporting one another, and empowering ourselves to lead.
Rotaract Great Britain and Ireland is more than a network; it’s a movement powered by shared purpose and friendship. From local service projects to international collaborations, our members create ripples of positive change that reach far beyond themselves.

Our Values
Our work and values are guided from the principles developed in the “Four-Way Test” as a framework that is shared within the Rotary network to help inform how we think, act, and serve. These values define who we are as Rotaractors and how we create impact together.

Rotary and Rotaract
Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Rotaract is a type of Rotary membership that is aimed at a young adult audience. With thousands of clubs worldwide, Rotaractors work together, in a way that works for them, to create meaningful change with benefits for all; supported by the Rotary eco-system.
Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
Working closely with Rotary, Rotaract provides opportunities for young leaders to develop skills, connect with like-minded peers, and collaborate across borders. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotary and Rotaract are changing communities like yours.
